covers the 2022 Festival

We are sorry to have to announce the cancellation of our Sea Shanty Festival planned for 18 21 June 2021. The current situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is a worry for all, and no matter how matters progress in the next month or so we have decided it would not be appropriate to continue with our plans for this year. This is a big disappointment for us but the health and safety of our visitors, from home and overseas and for those involved with the organisation of the Festival is our number one priority.

Again I am sorry that we cannot proceed but in the meantime please be careful and stay safe.2021 gig will be honoured for june weekend of 19 2022

Coordinator Dick Miles is pleased to welcome Martin Carthy back to the festival for the third time, along with old favourites such as Matt Cranitch and Jackie Daly, , Rosie Stewart Roisin White and many more.

For the first time, we welcome Sheila Park and Gemma Khawaja  Gemma…performs traditional songs and ballads and her own compositions with captivating
